ESI Netiquette @ Social Media

The Ernst Strüngmann Institute's social media accounts are intended to inform the public about the research conducted at the institute. We are guided by a principle of equal, respectful, and fact-based interaction between scientists, institute staff, and the public.

We value objective discussion of our posts. We therefore invite you to contact us via private messages or to use the comment function. Please remain respectful at all times. When formulating your comments, please consider how you yourself would like to be addressed.

Please note that you are responsible for your posts. By publishing on our accounts, you grant the Ernst Strüngmann Institute the right to publish your posts permanently and, if necessary, to use them editorially.

We value your opinion as long as it does not violate applicable law or is inappropriately worded.

We therefore reserve the right to remove posts that do not comply with our netiquette or, in the case of a legal violation, to take legal action. We also reserve the right to block users who repeatedly or seriously violate the principles of our netiquette.

We see our netiquette as a living guideline for our communication.

We therefore reserve the right to make changes and additions at any time. You can find the current version here at any time.
