Ingenuity and passion are essential elements of science and art. Artists and researchers alike need them to overcome boundaries and explore new worlds. Discipline, perfection, and attention to the smallest details are as important as curiosity, courage, and enthusiasm.
Our newly launched event series ESImeets… seeks to uniquely link two disciplines or topics, making them understandable and accessible to a broad audience. The format intends to amaze you, to make you think, and - of course - to make you want to be part of it again next time.
For the premiere it is ESImeets… Ensemble Modern
For the premiere of ESImeets…, we are especially pleased to welcome the internationally renowned and Frankfurt-based Ensemble Modern to our institute! Contemporary music and a lecture by our executive director David Poeppel on “Prediction, Tempo, and Ordeal in Music” will alternate.
On Thursday, June 29, at Deutschordenstraße 46, visionary neuroscience meets virtuosic music - and you are cordially invited! Admission is from 7 pm, and the event starts at 8 pm. Seating and admission are free, but prior registration is required.
